Nissan F.C. was found in early 1988 to organise and develop football activities within Nissan Motor Manufacturing (UK) limited, based in Sunderland.
Nissan applied for and gained entry into the second division of the Vaux Wearside League for season 1988-89. Over the past 13 years the development within the football section has been quite staggering.
